Durations and Prices for the Austrian Emissions Sticker
You can choose the duration that suits your trip. There are four options: 1 day, 10 days, 2 months, and an annual vignette. The price depends on your vehicle (car or motorcycle). The amounts stated are exclusive of the administration and service fee. The ASFINAG declaration is passed on at cost (0% VAT); in addition, we charge a one-off €6,99 administration and service fee per vignette (including 21% VAT).
The digital vignette is valid for almost all Austrian motorways, but there are exceptions. For certain major tunnels and mountain passes (such as the Brenner Pass (A13), Tauerntunnel (A10), and Karawankentunnel (A11)), you will need to pay additional route tolls on-site or in advance. This is separate from the regular motorway vignette.

Start Date and Validity
You can choose the start date for your vignette. Please note a short processing time: for the 1-day and 10-day vignettes, you can select a start date from 2 days in the future. For the 2-month and annual vignettes, there is a legal requirement, meaning the start date must be at least 20 days ahead. The earliest possible date will be automatically set in the order screen.
Never drive on Austrian motorways without a valid vignette. If checked without a vignette, you will face an immediate fine (Ersatzmaut) that is significantly higher than the cost of a vignette.
