Will I get fined if I travel to France without an emissions sticker?
If you enter a low-emission zone in France without an emissions sticker, you risk a fine of at least €58. For lorries, this fine is €115. This penalty is enforced under French traffic law Article R.411-19-1. If you exceed the payment deadline of 45 days, your fine will increase by €160, and for lorries, the increase is €375. Vehicle owners who violate these regulations will receive the fine by post or may be fined on the spot (in case of being stopped). Are you already (almost) on your way to France and haven't got your emissions sticker yet? Don't worry! We will provide you with official documentation via email within 48 hours.
