Map of the Eschweiler Emission Zone
The emission zone in Eschweiler is relatively small compared to other German cities and only covers the city centre. The boundaries are defined by the A4 motorway and the railway, as well as the inner side of Talstraße. The industrial areas, southern residential districts, and large stores like Media Markt, McDonald's, and Lidl are outside the zone. However, the city centre is included within it.

Exceptions to the Eschweiler Emission Zone
As with the rest of Germany, the requirement does not apply to the motorway. If you are driving through Eschweiler on the A4, you do not need a sticker. Access roads to the station, such as Talstraße, are also accessible without an emissions sticker. Additionally, stores like Burger King, McDonald's, Kaufland, Media Markt, das Futterhaus, and Autohaus Westphal can be reached without the sticker. The nearby town of Weisweiler, which is in the same municipality, is also accessible without an emissions sticker.
Parking Outside the Eschweiler Emission Zone
Don’t have an emissions sticker or your vehicle doesn’t qualify? Park at the edge of the emission zone. The parking lots near the aforementioned shopping boulevard are a good option. Note: the parking lot at Eschweiler station (C) is located within the emission zone.
Which Emissions Sticker is Required?
